Our Player Pathway

Forging champions: the journey through our club's player pathway.

Ages 4–7 | 4v4 format

Lil' Hams

One hour weekly seasonal training that promotes and teaches the FUNdamental skills in a positive environment.

Players will learn to develop receiving, passing, dribbling moves and goalscoring to execute within a fun and experimental environment. This will take place in fun story telling game mode as well as small sided scrimmage and game play.

4 and 5 year olds from this program will compete in house in a training and match based program. 6 and 7 year olds from this program will train to play in a small-sided league to face additional competition.

Youth Development Team

Our Youth Development Team is designed to introduce young players to a fun, challenging, and development-focused environment.

With two trainings per week and year-round league play, players build confidence, technical ability, and a love for the game while learning the foundations of the Hammers way.

7v7

2 weekly seasonal trainings, weekend matches and tournaments that teach and guide players to become individually competent in attack, defense and transition.

Players will continue to build on ball confidence and game understanding in 1v1 and 2v2 situations as well as connecting the bigger picture of team play.

9v9

2-3 weekly trainings, weekend matches and tournaments that are introduced in a competitive environment.

Continue to coach individual skills and decision making in a fun but challenging environment to develop the individual and the teammate.

We move into ensuring the player reaches the technical, physical, psychological and tactical needs of the team.

11v11

2–3 weekly training sessions combined with Heartland League, National 1 League, regional, and national competition opportunities create an environment that challenges both the individual and the team.

Players develop a deeper understanding of the game through competitive training and position specific responsibilities.

Athletes continue to grow in the psychological, physical, technical, and tactical areas of the game. National 1 League participation is reserved for qualifying teams and players.
